The third edition of the Balkan Grand Prix tournament at NPC WORLDWIDE took place this fall.
After participating in the first tournament in 2021, I decided to participate in the third one for several reasons. I was in a period between several competitions, accordingly, I'm in a competitive shape. The competition toke place in Sofia, Bulgaria – literally right under my nose. The tournament had a prize, which was a serious motivation to give my all and win it. There are rarely cash or any other prizes at the competitions. I like the competition as an organization, attitude, and prizes. And last but not least, family, friends can come to watch and support me at home. Thank you for being there and supporting me from start to finish. The feeling is indescribable!
I won gold again in my Bikini class C and took the overall title in the Bikini class for the second time.
This time I also got a crown with all the gifts. By tradition in USA they award with crowns, and this tradition has also been carried over to Europe. It's beautiful, especially for the Bikini division.
It was a great feeling, and the kids and I joked that their mom was already a princess. It was very funny coming home because the crown was on my head the whole time, even though I had already changed into a tracksuit and sneakers.
